Dermal Fillers

Avoid make-up for up to 12 hours after treatment

Avoid sunshine, sauna and steam rooms for two weeks after treatment

You may have temporary tenderness, swelling or bruising around the injection sites which may be present for up to two weeks after treatment

The filler may appear lumpy for the first 5-7 days after treatment due to swelling and the healing process, this will settle down in due course

Avoid applying pressure to or massaging the treated area for 2-3 days following treatment

Gently apply cool compress to extreme swelling

No smoking after treatment, and avoid excessive alcohol consumption

Arnica gel or tablets from pharmacy can assist in healing

Sleep on your back the evening after the procedure, to ensure filler is not disrupted during sleep.

If in pain following procedure take regular paracetamol. Avoid ibuprofen or aspirin.

The duration of the effect is very individual, skin type and muscle activities are factors which can influence the longevity of the dermal filler. Combination treatments or successive treatments may be required for optimum effect.

Botulinum Toxin

Do not touch the area for at least 4 hours

Do not apply make up for at least 6 hours, when applying after treatment ensure it is with a clean brush

Avoid sunshine, sauna and steam rooms for two weeks after treatment

Avoid applying pressure to or massaging the treated area for 2-3 days following treatment

Use of the muscles treated will help absorb botox

Allow a full 21 days for best results

A top up is only required if full movement persists. If you are unable to move eyebrows fully and lines have reduced a top up is not required.

A top up must be done only 14 days after the initial treatment, but no later than 21 days. If you are unable to schedule an appointment in this time frame you will not qualify for a top up.

For at least 4 hours after treatment keep upright and do not bend excessively.

For at least 12 hours after treatment avoid excessive alcohol consumption

For at least 2 days after treatment do not rub or massage the treated area, this may cause the injected solution to spread to nearby muscles. After washing, pat skin dry very gently with a soft towel

AVOID ACTIVITIES OR SITUATIONS THAT MAKE YOU SWEAT

For at least 2 weeks after treatment do not have any beauty treatments on your face e.g. facials, facial massage

We recommend that you avoid alcoholic beverages and anti-inflammatory medications before treatment. For the best results, schedule an appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any special events.

 


Skin Treatments 

Do not touch the area for at least 4 hours

Avoid sunshine, sunbeds, sauna and steam rooms for two weeks after treatment

You will need to protect your skin with SPF post treatment (this can become apart of your daily routine for optimal results)

Try not to touch your skin with your hands as your skin barrier may of been removed or broken.

Use only simple skincare DON’T USE SKIN PRODUCTS CONTAINING ‘ACTIVE INGREDIENTS’ 

AVOID ACTIVITIES OR SITUATIONS THAT MAKE YOU SWEAT

THESE AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE EXPLAINED TO YOU DURING THE TREATMENT AND A COPY OF THESE CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU UPON REQUEST. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TREATMENTS WE PERFORM WE CANNOT GUARANTEE RESULTS 

PAYMENT POLICY: YOU WILL BE ADVISED OF THE FULL COSTS OF ANY TREATMENT PLAN PROPOSED AND AGREED, INCLUDING THAT OF ANY MAINTENANCE TREATMENT, BEFORE ANY TREATMENT IS UNDERTAKEN. 

PAYMENT IS TAKEN, IN FULL AT THE TIME OF TREATMENT. THE CLINIC ACCEPTS CASH, OR MAJOR DEBIT AND CREDIT CARDS. 

REFUNDS POLICY: FILSON AESTHETICS WILL NOT REFUND ANY TREATMENTS DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TREATMENTS PROVIDED. AESTHETIC AND LASER TREATMENTS ARE NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE, AND NO GUARANTEES ARE MADE. ONCE THE SEAL IS BROKEN ON ANY OF THE PRODUCTS ABOUT TO BE USED ON YOURSELF - YOU ARE LIABLE TO PAY FOR THE TREATMENT WETHER YOU ARE INJECTED OR NOT. ALL SEALS ARE BROKEN INFRONT OF CLIENTS TO VIEW. (E.G IF YOU DECIDE YOU ARE TO NERVOUS TO BE INJECTED BUT THE NEEDLE IS ALREADY OPENED YOU MUST PAY FOR THE FULL TREATMENT) 

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TREATMENTS WE PERFORM WE CANNOT GUARANTEE RESULTS AND THEREFORE CANNOT REFUND IF THE RESULT OF ANY WORK IS UNDESIRABLE. YOUR EXPECTATIONS WILL BE MANAGED BY YOUR PRACTITIONER AND YOU MUST BEAR THIS IN MIND WHEN RECEIVING TREATMENTS. MULTIPLE SESSIONS MAY BE REQUIRED.

ONCE A WRITTEN COMPLAINT IS RECEIVED, AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WILL BE SENT OUT WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS. THIS WILL STATE THE TIME FRAME FOR A RESPONSE AND WHO WILL BE DEALING WITH THE COMPLAINT.
